What Our Logo Means
The Association’s logo is made up of:
- A head represented by the red circle
- A body represented by a sector in two shades of red
- A pair of hands in two shades of red
The dark red and pale red in our logo shows the contrast between a disabled and a non-disabled person.
The hands in two shades of red are raised in joy at being a member of HWA which enables him to lead an active and independent life. It also expresses the total joy of all disabled people in their indomitable spirit to attain independence and to manage their own life. The hands are united in their endeavour to promote the welfare of disabled people in Singapore.

There is life on a wheelchair.
