Mobility aids such as wheelchairs, commodes, walking sticks, walking frames and crutches are available for loan to HWA members, non-members staying in Singapore (Public), and even foreigners who come for short stay in Singapore (Foreigner).

HWA Members

1. Rent free period - HWA members get to use the borrowed equipment free for six months. After that a monthly rent is payable for use of the equipment for a month or part of a month.
2. Administrative Charge - An administrative charge is payable if the member borrows more than 3 pieces of equipment. The administrative charge payable is $3 per piece loaned subject to a minimum of $10 on each occasion when administrative charge is payable.
3. Deposit and Monthly Rent - The borrower has to pay a refundable deposit for each piece of equipment loaned. This deposit would be used to offset charges for repairs arising from damages or forfeited when the borrower failed to return the equipment. Public

2. Administrative Charge - An administrative fee of $30 is charged.
3. Deposit and Weekly Rent - The borrower has to pay a refundable deposit for each piece of equipment loaned. This deposit would be used to offset charges for repairs arising from damages or forfeited when the borrower failed to return the equipment. 4. Delivery and Collection - Arrangement can be made for the Association’s transport to deliver the equipment to the hotel, hospital or service apartment and to collect the equipment. The service charges would be $30 per trip. If there is more than one piece of equipment, a service fee of $5 per piece will be charged.
