| 07 Sep 2006 | DISABLED FRIENDLY MRT STATIONS |
Much grateful thanks to SMRT and SBS Transit for making travelling the 'public' way more accessible for the physically disabled, especially those on wheelchairs. As on this new year, more trains stations were given the green light for wheelchair-users to get on board a train to get around Singapore. Expect more train stations to go the disabled-friendly way by end of 2005. To us who are wheelchair bound, this only means more mobility and motivation for us to get out of our homes to work, school or outings the less expensive way.
