HWA Flag Day 2026 – CARING BEYOND DISABILITIES

Dear Donors,

You may remember me, Francesca, from HWA’s previous appeal campaign. Thanks to your generous support, individuals like me can receive essential care and rehabilitation services through HWA. These services help us regain confidence, improve our mobility, and live with dignity.

Today, many persons with disabilities and elderly individuals continue to rely on HWA’s care and support. To sustain these vital services, HWA will be organising its annual islandwide Flag Days on 15 August 2026 and 14 November 2026. We humbly invite you to continue your support by donating through

Your donation, along with funds raised from the public, will help ensure the continuation of these essential services for the community. No contribution is too small. Every donation represents hope, compassion, and the opportunity for someone to live with greater independence and dignity.

How You Help

Every Donation Makes a Real Difference

  • $10 covers transport or personal care
    Help financially needy individual in their two-way transportation costs to visit hospitals for Medical Consultation and collection of medication. Or help him/her to receive Personal Care Services.
  • $50 funds rehabilitation or home consultation
    Assist financially needy individual to receive 5-6 sessions of Rehabilitation sessions or 2 doctor’s consultation sessions at home.
  • $100 provides a week of home care support
    Assist financially needy individual to receive 7-8 nursing services at home.
  • $200 sends a student with disabilities to school
    To fund the transport services for student with disabilities, for 1 month, so he/she can go to school (based on the family’s financial means testing).
