INAUGURAL SHAPING HEARTS 2021 CELEBRATES ARTISTIC TALENTS OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

North East Community Development Council’s third iteration of an Inclusive Arts Festival has expanded to include more art expressions, artists, and Social Service Agencies this year. More than 150 community artists with special needs will be taking part in the inaugural two-week Shaping Hearts, held at Our Tampines Hub from 13 to 26 November 2021. We bring together 21 Social Service Agencies and their beneficiaries to showcase their talents in visual and performing arts. Participants will also get to see inspiring stories of hope told through the arts by our differently-abled community.

 Through this platform, we hope to promote greater advocacy for the special-needs community. We hope to benefit their holistic development through the arts, sustain and support employment opportunities through their talents, and enable them to pursue their interests in art and music.
